Freestone County Raceway opened in 2000. In that same year, Owner Tony Miller decided to fill a void by racing in the months of Dec-Feb. That series was the Texas Winter Series. Seven years later, its largest(per round), richest series in the state of Texas.
In 2005, Freestone County Raceway became the benchmark in lighting the Texas skies with stadium lighting that rivals any Pro football field.
In 2007, Freestone County Raceway will be the site for the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Texas National. Fans will get to see why Motocross lives today by the sites and sounds of the most talented professional riders in the world come to Texas every Labor Day weekend.
