Tom Zont, owner of TZR, has been involved in the sport of motocross racing for over 23 years, both as a racer, and as a dealership service manager and technician. With over two decades of racetrack experience, Tom is an expert at helping others fine tune their machines to help each individual
get in sync with their equipment in order to perform their best, be it racing at the professional level or just play riding for fun. Tom is known for his ability to communicate with riders and their crew in a way that allows even non-mechanically inclined individuals to understand what makes their machines work the way they do, and most importantly, how to make them better, and how to maintain that level of performance. At TZR, working on motocross bikes is so much more than just a job, it is a passion that shows itself with meticulous attention to detail, and the never ending quest for perfection.

Briarcliff is based 15 minutes east of Newark, Ohio. The facility has three tracks. The first is our A/B track, that has been in existence for two years. This track is upper level, with over four jumps spanning distances greater than 85'. We are building a new C level track in the spring of 2007, and relocating our existing 50/pitbike track. The C track will be a perfect blend of table top style obstacles, and smaller rythm doubles. A great stepping stone for every rider to
get ready for the A/B track. The facility sits on a 140 acres of the most scenic surroundings in the state. The dirt is the best, bar none, in the state. This silty clay loam has no rocks, just perfect for riding, or racing in large groups. Most people agree that once you ride the cliff, you can race any place.

Freestone County Raceway opened in 2000. In that same year, Owner Tony Miller decided to fill a void by racing in the months of Dec-Feb. That series was the Texas Winter Series. Seven years later, its largest(per round), richest series in the state of Texas.
In 2005, Freestone County Raceway became the benchmark in lighting the Texas skies with stadium lighting that rivals any Pro football field.
In 2007, Freestone County Raceway will be the site for the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Texas National. Fans will
get to see why Motocross lives today by the sites and sounds of the most talented professional riders in the world come to Texas every Labor Day weekend.
