aceway opened in 2000. In that same year, Owner Tony Miller decided to fill a void by racing in the months of Dec-Feb. That series was the Texas Winter Series. Seven years later, its largest(per round), richest series in the state of Texas.
In 2005, Freestone County R
aceway became the benchmark in lighting the Texas skies with stadium lighting that rivals any Pro football field.
In 2007, Freestone County R
aceway will be the site for the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Texas National. Fans will get to see why Motocross lives today by the sites and sounds of the most talented professional riders in the world come to Texas every Labor Day weekend.

Back 40 MX Park is located 20 miles east of Somerset, Kentucky. It is a facility that caters to riders, from beginners to pros. It is a 1 mile track with alot of step ups, and a great rythem section. It also currently stands as having the LARGEST TRIPLE JUMP IN KENTUCKY, at 110 FEET, if you dare to try! Only a few riders have yet to complete that jump. For the kids out there there is a cut off lane that is provided before the ENORMOUS 150 YARD DOWNHILL. So, if you are looking for a good practice track, or just a great pl
