More than 40 years ago, a young racer by the name of Jim O’Neal from Southern California had an addiction to riding and racing motorcycles that simply couldn’t be stopped. That passion for racing led Jim to compete against the Nations greatest in race events across the country. It was soon apparent that there was a need for creating parts, apparel and accessories that would stand up to the punishment being delivered by a new breed of young racers across the globe.
O’NEAL, the brand was born.
Our company’s desire for developing, creating and producing the world’s finest products is stronger than ever. To this day, Jim O’Neal is still racing and torture testing O’NEAL product along with some of the world’s finest racers. The goal is to make sure that EVERY O’NEAL product produced offers the absolute best in comfort, quality and protection every time you ride. Brothers, Robert and Matt Davis were blessed to have parents that took them to race motocross in 1978. For the next 8 years a passion for the sport developed that has lasted until present day and has no signs of stopping. By 1986, eldest brother, Robert, had turned his hobby of screen printing into a business called Graphics Lab, making stickers for the top skateboard companies at the time. By the early 90's the two were making stickers for several MX brands and local dealerships. By 1992 the Throttle Jockey brand was born.
