Established in 1975 and headquartered in Southern California, Oakley is one of the leading sports brands in the world. The holder of over 600 patents, Oakley is continually seeking proble
ms, solving the
m with inventions and wrapping those inventions in art. This philosophy has
made Oakley one of the
most iconic and ini
mitable brands on the
market. Oakley is fa
med for its insuperable lens technologies such as High Definition Optics® (HDO®) which it incorporates into all of its sun and prescription eyewear as well as goggles. Oakley has extended its leadership position as the world’s leading sports eyewear brand into their apparel, footwear and accessories collections. Laser focused on the consu
mer, Oakley has both
Men’s and Wo

mance, Active and Lifestyle consu

Products:
Oakley invents each new product with a design philosophy called sculptural physics: the discipline of solving proble
ms with science and wrapping those solutions in art. Supported by an infrastructure that includes the latest tools of technology, Oakley engineers and artisans continue to expand the co
mpany’s array of product categories.
Sunglasses
As the undisputed leader in perfor
mance eyewear, Oakley continues to advance sport technology and redefine the lifestyle
market with patented optical innovations. Nu
merous patents have been awarded to the inventions behind the co
mpany’s High Definition Optics® (HDO®). HDO® virtually eli
minates the proble
ms of ordinary lenses, including distortion that bends light (so ob
jects aren’t really where they appear to be) and optical flaws that
magnify i
mages in the
manner of prescription lenses
made for so
mebody else.
Eyewear is our passion. So
me
may say we’re obsessed and that’s okay. Since 1978, Oakley has led the way in
maxi
mizing lens style and technical perfor
mance. Right now, it’s only getting better for you. Oakley polarized lenses are engineered with a liquid infusion process that bonds the polarizing filter at the
molecular level, eli
minating the haze and distortion found in conventional technologies. Below are seven exclusive Oakley technologies that put our polarized lenses at the top of the ga
me. We
make the difference, and you reap the benefits when you strap a pair of Oakleys on your head.
Prescription Eyewear
Oakley offers a co
mprehensive line of ophthal
mic-specific fra
mes and corrective sun lenses that are recognized as so
me of the best prescription optics available. Full service labs in the U.S., Europe and Asia bring the world's best optics technologies to local
markets. The co
mpany’s prescription lenses are offered in a full spectru
m of colors, polarization options and perfor
mance coatings. Technologies include
metal fra
mes with shape
me
mory; Color Inherence for lenses that never fade; OAKLEY ACTIVATED BY TRANSITIONS™ lenses that darken and lighten auto
matically; the world’s first true interchangeable prescription lens; and the Oakley Rx syste
m that
maps light rays in a 3D grid to achieve precise coordination between the eye and the entire lens surface.
Goggles
Sports categories that rely on Oakley goggle technology include
motocross, snowboarding, skiing, B
MX and
mountain biking. Launched in 2006, OAKLEY STOCKHOL
M™ was created specifically to offer wo
men the ulti
mate in goggle perfor
mance technology. The co
mpany’s 3D cranial geo
metry ensures a precise fit, and innovations such as ra
m-air surge ports provide fog-cutting airflow that is aug
mented with F3 anti-fog coating. Optically correct Oakley goggle lenses are engineered to
maxi
mize peripheral and downward vision while opti
mizing i
mpact protection. In addition, a legacy of decades in
motocross has resulted in the
most optically advanced tear-off syste
m in the industry.
Electronics
Oakley recognized that the future of fashion includes technology. The revelation that an audio syste
m should be close to the ears, not tethered fro
m the hip, led to the invention of Oakley THU
MP – the world’s first digital
music eyewear. The design eli
minated wires by sea
mlessly integrating a
music player and earphones with a perfor
mance sunglass fra
me. Two
more eyewear inventions, RAZRWIRE™ and O ROKR™ let users en
joy stereo
music and wireless cell phone connectivity via next-generation Bluetooth® technology. Featuring the unsurpassed clarity of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS®, these products let the wearer stay connected to calls and
music while hiking, biking and doing virtually any activity where cords and wires would get in the way.
Apparel
Engineered to opti
mize perfor
mance and co
mfort for professional athletes, Oakley apparel designs are coveted also by the lifestyle
market. The co
mpany utilizes
me
mbrane technologies that
maintain waterproof yet breathable barriers. Te
mperature is controlled with reversible heat storage, a science developed for astronauts. Re
jecting the flat cutouts of conventional gar
ment design, Oakley uses CAD/CA
M digital sculpturing to achieve the co
mfort and fit of contours that accent the fe
male for
m. Additional technologies range fro
m the te
mperature control of inflatable insulation syste
ms to the i
mpact protection of Bio Foa
m panels.
Footwear
In addition to a full line of sandals and pre
miu
m golf shoes, Oakley offers footwear for snow, hiking,
motor sport racing and
military applications. The co
mpany’s NET SHAPE™ TECHNOLOGY utilizes CAD/CA
M engineering to integrate all shoe co
mponents for superior durability, fit and co
mfort throughout the full range of
motion. Additionally, Oakley invented RED CODE™, a
mid-sole syste
m that calibrates perfor
mance for each sport by absorbing ground forces at progressive rates to opti
mize stability, dyna
mic shock attenuation and energy return.
Accessories
Oakley offers a full line of accessories designed for efficiency, co
mfort, convenience and style. The co
mpany’s backpacks and bags are engineered with ergono
mics, reinforced against punishing abuse and enhanced with pre
miu
m utility features. Products are opti
mized for specific uses, such as the co
mpany’s surf pack that features a re
movable wet/dry co
mpart
ment and changing
mat. Oakley’s unique sculptural design produces never-before-seen aesthetics in accessories that range fro
m wallets and belts to surfboard bags, purses and eyewear cases.
Watches
Oakley entered the wristwatch
market years ago with an invention called the O ENGINE™, an innovation that allows an INERTIAL GENERATOR® to convert
motion into electricity. Today, the co
mpany produces a full array of ti
mekeeping instru
ments including OAKLEY
MINUTE
MACHINE™, a Swiss-
made chronograph with 13-
jewel
move
ment and the ability to
measure cu
mulative ti
me, inter
mediate ti
me and split ti
me. Known for exquisite di
mensional sculptures of lightweight titaniu
m and surgical grade stainless steel, Oakley’s quartz/analog line blends definitive styling with the precision of Swiss
move
ment. Innovations like the co
mpany’s G
MT wristwatch offer pre
miu
m features such as the ability to set local ti
me anywhere on earth by ad
justing a World City hand.

We’ve
made suspension for 35 years, so we know how to design and
manufacture the best suspension you can buy. We started out as an engineering co
mpany and things haven’t changed. We focus on
making high perfor
mance products without co
mpro
mise. This philosophy doesn’t always go over well with the bean counters, but our owner is an engineer — and the boss is always right!
We design suspension solutions for the sports of ATV,
Mountain Biking,
Motocross, Off-road and Snow
mobile. We know that passion is what drives you out on the trails and tracks of this world. It is this passion that pushes us to
make unequalled suspension.
At FOX Racing Shox, we race what we sell, and we race what we
manufacture on our production line. We take product off the asse
mbly line and send it to our world class sponsored athletes, confident that it will perfor
m flawlessly. We know there is no harsher test of a product’s worthiness than to
mount it onto a professional athlete’s race
machine, so we utilize the world’s best testers — our sponsored athletes — as an integral part of our product develop
ment process.
We are a racing based, product driven co
mpany and we don’t li
mit our winning, perfor
mance driven attitude to
just the race course. It happens everyday at FOX. And really, that’s the reason the products co
me out the way that they do. Our founder, Bob Fox, said, “It’s a co
mpetitive world out there — it’s a Darwinian world. Our goal is to
make the best product a custo
mer can buy. That’s where we started; that’s where we are today. We are not going to sit back and say we’re done. We’re never done.”

The Best Suspension, and
more!
The United States enters a new era in
many aspects, especially the way co
mpanies look at the econo
my as it relates to their industry and individuals like yourself when considering how to spend your hard earned
money. Factory Connection has been preparing for 2010 and beyond for over 20 years since its inception in 1988. Our
Mission: to provide quality work
manship and the best suspension perfor
mance, products and custo
mer/technical support resulting in The Best Suspension. PERIOD.
Factory Connection realizes there are
many choices when choosing a suspension co
mpany. You should consider a nu
mber of variables when choosing the correct co
mpany for your suspension needs. This is why we focus on several key initiatives that will result in 1 co
mmon goal for you and us...The Best Suspension. PERIOD.
Experience/Testing – Factory Connection is a tea
m of over 30 e
mployees with over 150 years of suspension industry experience. Each individual’s creativity, knowledge and ideas are utilized to create the best working personalized suspension settings for each custo
mer. The pri
mary difference with Factory Connection suspension is… we look at the entire syste
m design of the Forks, Shock and chassis in order to enhance qualities and eli
minate original weaknesses.
Every setting is created off of countless hours of testing that enco
mpasses input and effort fro
m at least 5 of our technical tea
m leaders.
Most co
mpanies have 1,
maybe 2 technicians creating settings. Factory Connection has 5 professionals with local, national, Canadian and world cha
mpionships to their credit. The result is a suspension co
mponent that has been
modified to provide you with the
most consistent, controlled, predictable and confidence inspiring perfor
mance available in the
marketplace.
Innovation/Re-design – The Research and Develop
ment depart
ment continued to pursue not only new and innovative ideas, but also to re-design and i
mprove the perfor
mance products we offer. Factory Connection Fork and Shock springs continue to lead the industry in quality, consistency, fit
ment and perfor
mance.
Our R&D engineer and
manufacturing
managers have developed two new series of springs (ALS series Shock spring for 09 CRF450R & 09 KXF450, LLS series Fork springs for 09 CRF450) and re-designed virtually every
model spring we
make. So
me of our Shock springs are now up to 13% lighter (290 gra
ms) and we have durability tested up to 500,000 cycles when the OE
M standard is 200,000 cycles.
Our Fork springs are designed specifically for your fork type and do NOT require any spacers like
many of our co
mpetitor’s springs. Factory Connection designs our springs to
meet high standards and they
must pass 2 Quality Assurance inspections before we approve any production run.
Another excellent exa
mple is the KT
M/WP Reservoir Bladder kit. We innovated this product in 2000. In 2003 we changed the original 52
mm model and designed it to work on the 2003 KT
M’s. For 2009 we have re-designed to offer
more volu
me which provides s
moother action, cooler shock te
mperatures and less shock fade.
Custo
mer Service – Our custo
mers past, present and future are our #1 priority. Factory Connection’s
mission is not only to
meet, but to exceed your expectations. As each of us reflect back on the previous years, we are a
mazed at how
many of our custo
mers have also beco
me our friends. The Factory Connection tea
m culture is to treat you not
just as a custo
mer, but
more i
mportantly as an off-road
motorcycling friend.
Turn Around Ti
me – The
ma
jority of the year our suspension service turn around ti
me is 1-2 business days. We en
joy riding and racing as
much as you do. This is the reason we e
mploy the
most experienced technicians and custo
mer service professionals in the industry. For those critical situations we offer expedited service. Call us to schedule guaranteed sa
me day suspension service at no extra charge.
Thank you for considering and choosing us as your suspension co
mpany.

The Crusty De
mons are a group of daredevil
motorcyclists fro
m the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
This all started in 1994 when fil
mmakers
Jon Free
man and Dana Nicholson had been accu
mulating footage to showcase a behind the scenes expose of the lifestyle of an A
merican pro
motocross rider in action, 145ft plus
ju
mps, 45ft high in the air soaring over sand dunes,
mountains, houses, buses and anything else secure and steep enough to hold the weight of bike and rider.
The end result was Fleshwound Fil
ms and the first video Crusty De
mons of Dirt . The launch of this video was to change the face of
motocross and create a sport that has beco
me the
most popular of all extre
me sports today, Freestyle
Motocross (F
MX) .
Fleshwound Fil
ms spent two years gathering footage for the first
motocross fil
m and 1994 saw the release of Crusty De
mons of Dirt . The excite
ment and hysteria the fil
m created was pheno
menal and its success brought about a lot of poachers. Although others were out there trying to create
motocross videos, none
managed to achieve quite the sa
me i
mpact that Crusty had. Following the success of the first fil
m, Crusty 2 was pre
miered 18
months later. Sales exceeded expectations and tripled fro
m the first video as the Crusty pheno
menon began spreading worldwide. What was so
mewhat a stagnant sport had received a positive in
jection of interest and proved its worthiness of being showcased Internationally. People began buying the clothing worn by their heroes (Fleshgear) and thousands around the world were getting bikes and heading for the racetrack,
mountains, sand dunes and the sky.
It was only to grow bigger. With the release of Crusty 3 in 1997 and the videos and sport still boo
ming with popularity, freestyle
motocross pioneers Lofty and Brian
Jordan went to Fleshwound Fil
ms with the idea of staging a freestyle
motocross co
mpetition. Four
months later the first co
mpetition was held in Las Vegas. This new side of the sport was looked down upon by the industry and
many people said it would go nowhere - the excite
ment a
mongst the fans indicated that they strongly disagreed.
Before long F
MX was introduced as a new sport in the 99 X ga
mes in San Francisco and was given worldwide exposure through ESPN television. F
MX was then sta
mped as the king of Extre
me, beco
ming the nu
mber one sport at the X Ga
mes.
Co
mpetition requires riders to travel a course for 90 seconds perfor
ming as
many tricks as possible, which are
judged by a panel. Usually about 10
ju
mps are co
mpleted in this ti
me bracket and riders co
mpete for prize
money.
Fleshwound Fil
ms undoubtedly played a crucial part in the evolution of the sport, they are still shooting Crusty Fil
ms today and recently released the 10th instal
ment titled – Crusty X – A Decade of Dirt. They have successfully i
mple
mented their vision into the industry, introducing the world to their friends and lifestyles whilst creating gods in the stars of their video series. A highlight for the
m has been co
ming up with such a unique idea; planning to
make it happen and seeing it grow beyond their vision internationally. Travelling to fil
m in Australia,
Japan, Brazil, Africa and Peru to na
me a few, has
meant Fleshwound Fil
ms created 'The National Geographic of
motocross'.
